Contact Hours with JJ (Primary E-RYT for Program)
Contact Hours are workshop, classroom or private lesson hours with JJ. You must complete the following minimum hours with JJ in the following categories before diploma or certification is granted.

Below is an example of two different students coming in to the 700-Hour program. One student has a 200-RYT from JJ, the other has a 200-RYT from elsewhere.
Student w/JJ's 200-RYT
Total Required Hours: 700
Contact Hours Required: 450
Student already has 120 contact hours from the 200-RYT with JJ.
Following are the contact hours coming in to the program with JJ's 200-RYT/ what is Still Required to obtain the total required:
A&P: 10 completed with 200-RYT w/JJ, Still Required: 0 For a total of 10
TM: 10 completed with 200-RYT w/JJ, Still Required: 25 For a total of 35
TH: 50 completed with 200-RYT w/JJ, Still Required: 50 For a total of 100
PH: 15 completed with 200-RYT w/JJ, Still Required: 20 For a total of 35
PR: 5 completed with 200-RYT w/JJ, Still Required: 15 For a total of 20
Add'l spread across the categories: 30 completed with 200-RYT w/JJ, Still Required: 220 For a total of 250
Total Still Required: 330 versus 450 for the student below. The remaining 130 hours may be taken as electives from any teacher.
A student coming in to the 700-hr with a 200-RYT from elsewhere will need all the contact hours stated above:
A&P: 10
TM: 35
TH: 100
PH: 35
PR: 20
Add'l: 250. The total required is 450 contact hours + their 200-RYT from elsewhere = 650-hours for this program. This student is able to take only 50 elective hours from other teachers.
